Customized Kitchen

 

This kitchen was designed to be both functional and warm.  The counter tops are a formica solid surface counter top that is more durable and requires less maintenance than granite.  Simply wipe it down with Windex and you're done.

 

The appliances were all purchased and installed less than a year ago.   They are all stainless steel and are Frigidair and Kitchen-aid models.  We purchased them from Lowes, which is right down the street. 

 

The kitchen window overlooks the frontyard; which I have to say is more entertaining than TV sometimes.

 The cabinets were custom built into the kitchen when the house was built and we thought about replacing them, but found them to be too functional to replace.  The drawers are hidden inside the bottom cabinets (one to the right of the sink for silverware) and (two to the right of the cooktop).  There is a lot of storage in these cabinets cause they are deep and well built.  
 The kitchen flows into the Florida Room to allow people to be both in the kitchen and in the den.  I know when ever we have a party, everyone's always in the kitchen.
